Funny, I was just posting to say sorry but I couldn't find that tool you were after and an alert pops up to say you have it ...well done !
Did it come from that 'copytechnet' website I wonder ? Anyway I hope it helps to get your printer up and running soon.

It did come from 'copytechnet' website. It appears that when I registered for their website, something went wrong and I didn't receive the email necessary to finish the registration process. This has been rectified and now I have access to the program to download.

Hello! I'm having troubles with my IPF510. E196-404E so i started the printer in the download mode because the FUT doesn't work. But i cannot find the L Printer tool in the web. Can anyone help me with that tool?

I finally got version 1.8 of the Canon L Printer Service Tool. I want to thank @Technician for all of his help!

Can you please share where you were able to find the service tool. I have been trying to find one with no luck , I have the ipf8400.
