Printer Model
Epson Stylus Pro 3800
I have a small collection of old mainboards from my previous Epson printers after parting them out some time ago. I have an idea that the one letter and three numbers on the mainboard is the identifier. However, does it go deeper than that? There are also assembly numbers. I want to make sure I have everything organized correctly if I ever need them down the road. Is there a more accurate way to definitively identify which mainboard/power assembly (It's one connected unit)?

Hi @TheEd
Do you need to know which printer model it came from or something more specific then that such as including revisions etc.
If you need to know which printer it came from, that is easier and here is what I would do.
1) List out the printer models that you have had over time.
2) Search the image of the motherboard image (Google Chrome as this capability

When I did that the top image came out as :

and for the lower board

Now, of course, if you are running an Ebay business or similar to sell the parts and don't know for sure about the original printer model, then this would only be a starting point as printer manufacturers tried to leverage their designs among multiple printers sometimes with small modifications.

Hope this is helpful
