In Europe the standard paper for inkjet printers, laser printers, and photocopiers is A4 80 gsm. The quality of the paper is different from different manufacturers, some papers are more opaque than others and they also absorb ink in different ways. The most expensive papers are not always the best for inkjet printing, so you could check out different papers.
80 gsm paper normally isn't perfect for double sided printing, the text will show through, a thicker paper is recommended. There also exists special high resolution paper for inkjet printing. These papers are normally thicker than 80 gsm, and the printing is clearer and sharper than when using standard paper. These papers are also well suited for double sided printing, but they are also much more expensive than ordinary 80 gsm paper.
