You won’t find Aldi paper anywhere other than in an Aldi store, but when visiting Florida just Google a computer store in the locality you are at or nearest... ;)
My bad Aldi also have a finder i thought it was only in europe now i have paper, glossy photo paper and mate can you tell me the model that u had tried and the best result for you. and how good need to be the resolution of the printer to print on 12 x 12 with quality. to campare for example i know canon pro - 10 is good enough 600 X 1200 DPI.

Aldi is selling the Sihl paper only at a few special dates in Europe, that paper is not a regular item in their stores, and I doubt that they carry it in U.S. at all, in different formats.

hi guys, i hope most you comments in this new thread, i will make around 200 albums family project as a gift for friends and my family so i will to know some stuff about ur experience which article i need to buy to be sure to make done this project.

First of all i will need a printer fast and with good quality, first Choice for sure gonna be Canon - pro 10 i need an epson printer maybe Epson P-800 another choice goona be Maxify A4 pigment printer but not sure about quality and speed if i will print a lot of stuff i need quality and speed any advices.

Inks: i will use precision colors.

Paper: will be glossy and mate with the brands of Red River and Aldi the last one aldi i don't know if i will be able to get in the U.S.A

Software to use: Qimage and Ligthroom

all of this will be free for them and makes their life happy.

What i need is about your Experience of prints best machines with good speed, quality and able to refills, best paper with good quality and price cause as it will be free i can't loose money with some test.

thanks in advance i will go to the florida next week if anyone knows store there it will a pleasure so i can go and buy all the stuff thanks in advance.

First, how many images per album? I would expect 50 to 100 or more. That's 10,000 or more images! How many years are you going to spend at this? How many printers are you going to use up in the process? (I'm not trying to discourage you. I'm just pointing out some unpleasant complications caused by the scale of your project.

I suggest that you instead put together a prototype album. Don't attempt to secure supplies for 200 just yet. Consider using a photo lab for producing the images. They use their own paper and they buy it by the roll. Can be quite economical. Once you have the prototype (proof) album in hand, you will have necessary information to best print a pilot run of perhaps 1 to 5 or more additional albums. Circulate those early albums for review and incorporate changes as desired. Then you will also have information to help you decide how to produce more albums. Or you can do something completely different. It's for you to decide.

AFAIK, the maximum paper with accepted by the Canon Maxify printers is 215.9 mm (8.5 in.) No 12 by 12 photos from that printer,

If you choose to go the refill route, pick one that uses bag style carts. They are usually the easiest to refill. The only problem with them is that the compatible refillables are generally not up to snuff so you're forced to reuse the OEM carts. You'll want to be extra careful about refilling each cart with the correct color ink, since mistakes will result in lots of expensive scrap images. Plan production batches so that you don't need to refill on the fly.

This is a printing information forum. It's not AFAIK an engineering consulting group. So you can probably expect the same results as we get from our own advice ...

Wow nice Suggest i already did, the problem here in my country the lab uses Kodak endurance photo paper and fujitfill photo paper and when you printer here in Dominican republic every picture and a different skin color or other components different that what you see in the paper and i have the idea what i want but first prints a lot cause is what i like, sometimes i drop this cause of money and family stuff but i never print a picture with the quality that most have a photo.

Some people like any kind of image me no, so no matter how long it takes but i need to learn the best way to do it by my self and witch equipment do i will need like, best printer, for this printer quality and speed is the most important best paper price the 3er ink i will use for sure precision color.

i know for sure some people do this daily this kind stuff so it can be helpful if they share the experience. most of my family are photographer and they know what image they took through the camera.

Is your nozzle check o.k. ? I see some banding on some of your prints . I don't see any difference between the Ultra Glossy photo setting and the RPM setting with my L800 , only under the microscope looking to the individual dots

I always do a nozzle check before prints and they look great, maybe another settings is wrong ?? like black point compesation or the color profile ???? what is your suggestion.
