What is a HP Envy 110 printer?

I saw a HP Envy 110 at the thrift store and was wondering what it is all about. The printer is small and not very thick and uses # 60 carts.

It is an ordinary two cartridge HP printer in a stylish and very expensive casing. See this and this.

I think it looks like a VCR or DVD player.

Looks like it was designed to be fancy but not practical.

HP makes some of the best large format inkjet printers - but their A4 models should win the award for cartridges with the the smallest possible amount of ink - rather a moistened sponge, than any measurable liquid ... and the best prohibition of 3rd party inks or carts, even by remote firmware updates...
