As this DJ500 comes back to life slowly but surely, I'm eyeing different ink systems, the HP Cyan cart it came with is about a 1/4 full, its time to look at options.
At first I was pretty much sold on a CIS System but now i'm wondering.
It would seem to me that the DesignJet 500's off axis ink supply system is essentially a CISS less the ability to refill the factory carts, and that adding an aftermarket CISS would just be more tanks and plumbing. This got me looking at refillable carts and oversize refillable carts.
Does anybody have any experience here? I would like some input from those more knowledgeable than I.
