How to print on the back of photo paper

Not so sure I would want the head whizzing across sanded paper if any minute particles of silica remain on the paper.

Use fine sand paper on the back of your photo paper. The ink attaches to the fine scratches you created. Works great.

My experience is that the back of the sheet varies by paper manufacturer and paper grade.

I print several hundred greeting, thank-you and notepad style cards per year and have very little trouble printing on the back. - Full disclosure - For the most part my back printing comprises few lines of display type and a small logo in black or dark grey.

For full-colour large size images a double sided paper seems the obvious choice.

My goto choice for cards is Red River 60lb Polar Matte. Gives a good reproduction at a reasonable price.
