My MP-610 is beyond repair :( I have 500cc tanks of refill ink for all colors, but they are between 2-5 years old. Are they too old to consider reselling on an auction site?

Also, I thought that the problem with my printer was the print head, but when I bought 2 new ones, the problem was not solved. So the problem is somewhere inside the machine and I'm giving up on fixing it. Are the print heads also worth something on auction, or do I run the risk of sending a lemon to the buyer?

TIA for any input, don't want to sell junk goods!

@bluecrabby, there is no reason why you can’t sell all your dye inks, provided of course that they are still in sealed bottles, just sell them as aged ink.

The two print heads are a different matter all together, there would be a lot of conjecture as to whether they are still in good working order or not, there maybe some guys out there who would love to keep their trusty old MP 610 going and would snap your hand off for them, BUT.

Your printer is not working ! So how do you know that these two heads are not damaged also, you simply don’t and by passing them off as unused new heads you run the risk of also damaging some other poor sods printer ? (Poison Chalice)

Because the only sure and honest way is to have them tested in a working printer first, but who’s going to want to do that, even if you offer the second one free.. :idunno

Totally understand. It's possible that the root problem also damaged the print heads when I tried to use them; there's no way for me to find out!

bluecrabby, I have an IP4500 here that needs a printhead... (or maybe like your printer something else is wrong). If you want to get rid of them let me know. I have other printers, but always nice to have another working one.

The only issue is international shipping from Japan. Would you be willing to cover that?
