For some reason my router has decided to assign a different IP address to my printer. Is there a way to change the address on the port? Surely I don't have to reinstall the driver just to get it to detect the printer at a different address. Can I just change the 'location' on the 'general' tab for the printer properties maybe?

If the router was powered off then a new IP address may be assigned. You can assign a Static IP Address for the printer to hopefully prevent this from occurring again.

Good advice on the above link. You can also do it in the the router's as well under something like IP Reservation or Static IP or similar name.
Just look in your Router's list of connected devices to make sure that it hasn't assigned that old IP address you want to use to another device. Otherwise you will have an IP conflict if you try to re-assign it.
