I am a elderly male from south Wales. I have been interested in photography for many years since the days of film and darkroom processing. I went digital 8 years ago and i am enjoying the freedom it brings. I have owned several printers, dot matrix, HP inkjet, Epson inkjet, etc but most gave up the ghost soon after warranty expired.
I am currently using a Pixma Pro 1 and it has until recently produced excellent results. The last nozzle print was not satifactory and i am now investigating the problem. The forum has already been very enlightening but i am still pursuing answers.
I look forward to help and advice and perhaps i have a little to share in return.

Welcome to the forum, Gcom. Just the other day I watched a YouTube video on how Technicolor process came to be and its glorious implementation in the Wizard of Oz. Pretty smart folks.

Read your other thread about Pro-1 issues. I see our fearless leader The Hat is already on the case, so you are in good hands. Hang in there.

LOL! How about a recording of a dot matrix? On second thought, maybe not.

Maybe we should have a thread for people to suggest a theme song for our forum.

I looked at a few like The Printer's Trade and The Printer's Devil, songs or topics that @The Hat probably knows well, and a few that make mention of printing like Greyhound's or Three Dog Night's "Black and White", but then I came across a little ditty that visually and word-wise (It's obsession") seems to fit well enough.

There were 576 printers used. What make and model?
