Tks for keeping us updated; it's an aggrevating approach by the printer manufacturers to make refill pretty much impossible or to find out which method still may work.

I was looking at the original ink of the LC402 cartridge and the yellow color when it is together seems to be pigmented?

because if it were dye ink it should be darker and darker, since being translucent it gets darker and darker
Maybe?

You are right, that's exactly how a pigment ink looks like

To continue with the investigation I leave a proof that leaves the inks in water soaked for 12 hours, as can be seen if they were from DYE they should have washed or run the ink

And they have remained the same before, during, and after the water
