Hi all,
I am so sorry for not replying till now.
I'm in a remote location with little internet service until tonight at least.
I used the Pro strength formula that will indeed eat plastice if used in full strength.
Diluting it with pharmacist's formula i have made up in 2 strengths (one with more Glycol than the other) tamed the Goof Off down to give the results without being harsh enough to hurt plastics as long as it is not soaking in the stuff for more than the 2 hours as tested.
I did test several combinations of mix with different plastics before doing my experiment with a 50/50 mix being the best dilution ratio to keep plastic safe.
