I am searching for a good Epson AIO system and I think the Epson WorkForce WF- 7515 will be a good choice for me. It can scan A3, which is a plus for me. Printing speed is good.

refillable cartridges are available fortunately, but I am concerned about the lack of a maintenance tank. Does somebody if it is possible to redirect the waste ink tubing into an external bottle, like the other Epson printers ?

I was first looking at the WF-4525, but it lacks A3 scanning possibility, but it has stationary cartridges and also a removable maintenance cartridge.

Epson, Canon, HP... A "few"
EDIT: Sorry, let me be much more definite...

Yes is absolutely does have an accessible waste ink system but the design is very new... I'm currently in the process of designing some new waste kit systems to take into account the differences many of the newest Epson printers have.

The key potential issue is that of ability to reset but even that is slowly being resolved.

As to whether it's the best AIO? No idea... Not had a chance to look at that aspect of things and any review you read will most likely be bought and paid for by the OEM.

I am just finding out the right type of refillable cartridges.

According to the manual it uses both T1291-T294 (L) as welll as T1301-T1304 (XL) cartridges, but what about the T1281-1284 refillables ? The reason is that many refill companies sell T1281-T1284 refillables as being compatible to the T1291-T294, which is right, but I am not sure if this is the case for the Workforce-7515.

I absolutely hate the bottom feed design of these new ones, but if I had the room for it I'd buy one just for the A3/tabloid scanner
