that means i have 4 set of black and 2 each of the dye colors and 1 full set of oem canon catridges. Enough catridges to play around with. I think i will try the german method on one of these sets.

Forum consensus is to refill only OEM Canon cartridges for the best opportunity to have long term trouble-free cartridge performance. No one constructs a cartridge for Canon printers as well as Canon.

I would strongly suggest that you use your compatible cartridges once and then dump them.
If you want to refill your cartridges then use your OEMs that way youll have a much better chance of success
with your refilling and less problems when printing.

Compatibles dont refill all that well and dont perform nearly as good as OEMs do for printing.
So use your OEMs up first and then practice refilling on them that way your results will be far better and so much more enjoyable..:)

i have been looking for chips for cli-226 and pg225 catridges. I have two empty transparent refillable catridges without chips. Please can anyone direct me to a site where i can get these chips or virgin oem canon catridges or resettable third party aftermarket chips?

eBay? Since these cartridges are fairly new, and a resetter has been available a short time, you may need to buy new OEM Canon to get a full set.

If you do find a source for empty 225/226 Canon cartridges let us know.

Interesting how two people ask about an obscure aftermarket seller, Sophia, on the same day .

The response to your specific question on Sophia products is likely to be the same as on the other thread - zip, zero, nada. My answer is the same: Do yourself a favor and use OEM Canon cartridges.

I could not locate the empty Canon cartridges on the web site you mentioned. Could you please provide a link?
