FIRST hand evaluation of removable plug aftermarket cartridges

To follow up on the carts with removable plugs per the OP --- I know that bci-6 and cli-8 Canon carts and many that have come after them can be easily modified in about five minutes to use removable refill hole plugs. These plugs are available from several vendors.

@Smile you obviously don’t follow Super bowl either, well these Nano cartridges certainly look different but have no prism in them, unlike the Chinese counterparts, will they work properly that is the question ?

There will be no way of finding that out or if the chips are ARC’s either because they are only sold in Russia, and since there’s an embargo in the EU on Russian trade goods, so we’re unlikely to find them on the open market in the foreseeable future.

Well is you looked at the prices they are not cheap, I doubt they are made by Russians as the adverts are not in Russian, the brand name does not sound Russian either.

They do work, I don't know about the prism. I have not seen them in EU, but that in not because embargo but I really don't know why.

These Nano cartridges do look like a lot of taught and work has gone into them but without feedback anyone buying them would have to take a shot in the dark and be first with any evaluation on them.

There is a need for a good source of cartridges for the 551/251 range of printers if they are going to be around for some time, because the OEM’s are a bit of a joke..

Are only region 4 cartridges available? Region 4 is Russia, Middle East and possibly Africa. ARC chips for a wrong region cannot be used. Maybe the Russians have no intention of exporting the cartridges?
