Hello

I tried to print out some graphs recently and noticed the grey's were coming out reddish. I didn't worry about it, but now I need to print out some photos and the same thing is happening.
I've tried doing the cleaning, nozzle checks but I can't seem to fix it.

This is what the nozzle check looks like

The strip of grey's is brown/red'ish. It looks like the cyan might be a bit weak too?

These are the inks I'm using. I have recently replaced them. I have used them in the past with no issues.

Any thoughts?

Cheers
It looks like I can't post any URL's :(

Your extended nozzle check looks good for the three color dye inks but it looks like you have some problem with your pigment black nozzles on the extended nozzle check but it looked perfect on the regular nozzle check from you first post, so I'll assume that it's OK.

Look at your color cartridges. They should have a label on them that says BCI-6C, BCI-6M and BCI-6Y. I'm going to guess that instead of BCI-6C you have a BCI-6PC which is a lighter color than the BCI-6C and would explain why your cyan is printing so light and some of your other colors are off.

Actually the are:
Black: 3eBK (The official cartridge for my printer)
Colours: 3eC, 3eM, 3eY

edit: I just noted the packages for my ink says BCI-6C/M/Y
but also BCI-3eC/M/Y

Well, that idea didn't pan out, unless there is a significant difference between the BCI-6 and BCI-3e cartridges. Are you using Canon originals or third-party? You might want to try buying a set of Canon originals.

Did this problem just recently start happening, like when you put in your most recent set of cartridges?

Thanks for getting back to me.

The latter.
I have used these cartridges with no problems in the past. In fact I just changed them out for another set and it hasn't changed a thing.
