Since I am a printer knowledgeable person now :eek:, I was asked to solve this problem.

I believe it has to do with the parking of the printhead.

Reset voodoos won't help, it is hardware.

There is a rattle when the printer feeds a sheet, and the purge system is retreated to the back and not under the parked printhead (as it should be at least on a Canon printer).
