I have fallen back to my trusty Artisan 50, fitted with a pretty reliable CISS. I wish someone would hack the XP-600 itself so I could just tell Epson to go sit on a pickle! Thanks for the suggestions.

best ink OCP V-Edition c,m,y,bk140 + bkp 115

After finishing the last long-term tests, OCP’s R & D department has recently released a new set of V-Edition inks which were especially designed for a number of new Epson Claria™ cartridges.
Following the trends of the OEM to design and produce more and more ink cartridges with very durable and fade-resistance inks, OCP´s V-edition Inks match these requirements perfectly. By extensive, comparative tests under precisely defined conditions, OCP proves that key properties such as smudge and scratch resistance as well as light fastness of these particular OCP inks are at least as excellent as of the OEM inks.

Is there any news about refilling these cartridges? I got an XP-810 and from the latest posts I understood that is better sell it and buy a more refilling friendly printer.

Did I understand it right?

Is there any hope to refill for a XP-810 owner?

I've finally got someone in my team tackling this but it's a slow grind...

So far we've completely ruled out the refillable cartridges as they just flood the printhead and are basically useless. Some of that may be the inks we're using (OCP) but it's unlikely to be the primary issue...

A CIS installation is next on the agenda.

We've also been looking at the original cartridges and so far it seems likely that the best approach is the one recommended by Octopus-Office here

There may be another approach but from everything we've kicked around here so far, there's too many ways the cartridges can just fail...

If I'm honest I'm hoping that the CIS side of things will prove more fruitful but we'll see.

Thank you,really appreciated :)

I'll give the Octopus method a try.

It's a pity, very good printer but too much expensive to run (apart from re-filling of course...)

Hi all,
the original OEM carts slowly got empty. Now I need to refill or buy new ones.

Is there any update on how to refill such carts?

I saw around a few CIS systems. Are they any good? How do they perform?

Thank you in advance for the help
