I have an Epson SX600FW multifunctional.
It worked well until few days ago when I noticed that the print quality was very very very poor (only in Black. Color is ok). After 2 nozzle cleaning cycles, I tried to pull out a couple of ml of ink from behind the printer, through the flexible waste ink tube, like I did it many times before. But I noticed that the syringe was pulled back and no ink was coming into it.
I verified the cartridge if the ink is coming out from it, and it is ok.
I moved the carriage in the middle and I verified with the syringe if the black nozzle is clogged by simply pushing and pulling air with the syringe. It is ok, it is not clogged.
Without moving the carriage onto its main position (in the right side, onto the cleaning pad), I tried again to pull out some air with the syringe from behind the printer, through the flexible waste ink tube. And the syringe was working well, without being pulled back.
Then I noticed that only when the carriage is on its main position (in the right side), onto the cleaning pad, the syringe is pulled out. Something is blocking here.
Does anyone have an idea what would be?
