You will probably need a resetter to reset the chips on Epson carts. Also some 60 ml syringes (slip luer type).
I managed to disable the ink counters in the service menu. I've read that some people cant do it on these which i think may be due to a firmware update I dont have on this machine. I also found I am able to reset the maintenance cart through the service menu.

I might re-enable them though and get a re setter. I have already found through my erroneous enabling of the 'init fill' that it will indeed disregard the level of ink in the carts . Probably a handy feature to leave them disabled for CIS or big 220ml refillable carts you can see the level in.
