Hello,
I have an Epson Stylus Photo PX820FWD and I use happily refillable cartridges with OCP compatible 3rd party inks.
The OCP ink, for everyday use are just doing fine even if the color are not that great and they smell a little bit.
I just saw that Epson is selling Claria genuine inks into bottles (Claria 114), but light magenta and light cyan are missing, so I read into a post that is possible to make Light Cyan and Light Magenta diluting Cyan 114 and Magenta 114.
1) can anyone give me some instruction about how to do correctly this diluting ? Which transparent ink should I use, and which proportion
?
2) if I want to switch to genuine 114 Espon Claria ink, do I need to clean the printerhead with some solution, or I can just refill the cartridges with the genuine ink ?
Back in the day i saw some light pink solution used on Epson to clean all the printer-head circuit and used even to maintain those printer, but I don't know if it's necessary in my case since the nozzles just print fine when I perform a printer-head test.
My printer supports T080 and T079 cartridges, T079 should be pigmented ink and T080 dye, which is best to use for everyday use and some good quality photo ?
