About testing longevity of pigment inks: I am pretty sure the pigments will hold much longer than any dye ink, including the superior Claria Photographic inks made by Epson, which supposedly should last for many decades. I have done some testing with both dye (Colorgraph, Inktec) and pigment inks (Image Specialists, Inkrepublic) and already can say after almost one year facing a sunny windows the dye inks faded horribly: the pigment ink prints are still very vivid without the slightest colour shift and fading. In a few months time I will upload some test images scanned after they have radiated by sun light for more than a year.
