Quote from the test:
"..Like the companion L355 printer, the L800 uses bulk dye inks. Although having better permanence than the very low stability L355 inks,..."

After a quick research I found that the ink sets are NOT the same, having different stock numbers:
L300: t6641-44
L800: t6731-36
Good to know..if I have to order a new set..

I wonder if T6641 is same compared to T6642, T6643 and T6644. Is it true photo ink, or plain paper only (similar way like PGI and CLI in Canon printers)?

T6641 is rated 4000 ISO pages from 70 ml, while 3 others are rated 6500 ISO pages from 70 ml.
I know there are differences in nozzles for black and colors.

T673x family seems to be homogeneous.

6641 is not like pgi (canon pigment ink for sharper text, not photos)
it is like the other colors, as the text prints from these epson printers is not as sharp as canon.
So I think both sets are "homogeneous", meaning these are all dye ink.

I think I read somewhere that canon DYE inks are way better than 4 or 15 years :)
Why EPSON bottles korean or so ink and sells it at increased prices when average refilled will not use it?

If refillers are targeted with this printer then it should be sold without any ink, with an option to buy it. It's hard to see how EPSON tried to turn time back again when printers were expensive and we had larger cartridges ! That will not be happening I think.

On the other hand if one wants to milk some money they should make 3d printer instead, this way people will pay you thousands of dollars for "automatic mini glue gun" that really can't be used for anything, and come on steppers in 21st century? All printers have cheap motors with encoder disk that is cheap also it's not glass like it should be. So is there a shortage of plastic encoder discs in China or the so called entrepreneurs are simply lazy?

Canon does not sell any dye inks "chromalife" in bottles...you know why?
Same reason why epson does not sell "claria" in bottles...
