Since this little nugget appeared in another post a few months back..

... I'm wondering if anyone has actually taken Epson up on their offer of a waste ink pad reset tool and tried it out.
In particular if anyone has obtained one for any of the newer models..
I ask because:
a) nobody has so much as commented to date
b) I'm getting a lot of queries about printers like the 1400 and 1900 which are obviously not covered by the SSC utility
c) I'm just plain ole' curious
Any input welcome..
