I don't know whether companies like Amazon would do direct imports from other countries for you from foreign dealers;
you may look for slightly upgraded models as well like the L805 or L810 or a combo L850 all with the same print engine, or alternatively for the ET-7700 with 5 colors but promising very good photo prints.
I'm looking for the l800 so I can make id cards that's why I wanted this one but I can't find it here . I found it in Germany but it's hard to communicate with them I don't speak German
The L805 just adds WLAN, the L810 a scanner, all do CD-print. You may try to order via Amazon UK or Carribean states, I was - I'm getting such printers via middle European dealers - Czechia or Poland. Epson is only selling a small range of these ET/L-ITS models officially in Germany.
Is an L8x0 series printer still interesting ? I thought the new series of ecotank printers sold in western europe superceeds them. E.g.: ET-2600 sells oficially in UK for 150 UKP. Sure they all have scanners you may not need, but price wise its not clear to me that the older L series are any cheaper.
Only exception seems to be the L1800, there doesn't seem to be a new EcoTank model.
you can maeander around through product listings, but the main question should be what your requirements are - must have's - nice to have - don't care. You should look for the number and type of inks, droplet size, borderless printing option to name a few. The L8x0 is a 6 ink dye ink photo printer, lots of other models come with 4 inks - pigment black and CMY dye or you look for the ET-7750 as a new A3 dye ink printer if that's an alternative.
