Epson Ink Interchangeable?

I have an Epson Stylus Color 740 that uses the S020189/S020108 black ink cartridges. I was wondering if the black Genuine Epson Ink Cartridge for the Epson Stylus Color 600 will work? The printers look almost identical, as do the shape of the ink cartridges and they even share the same color cartridge.

A lot look the same and I can think of no reason why Epson would make so many differen designs but I doubt it will fit...

I dont think it will, one uses a plug that is pierced by the printer and then the ink flows, the other has a valve inside that the ink comes through, although the ink inside the two is the same, I dont think it will fit, and making it fit could result in leakage.

as far as I know only the color cartridges are compatible with both Epson stylus color 600 & 740 inkjet printers:

S020089
S020191

The black cartridges are different

Well, I do Sell G&G compatibles, and I can tell you that the black cartridge is OK for the 600 and 740 as marked on the package. I don't know about genuine Epson cartridges, though...
