Epson 3880 Black Ink Leak Repair

Hey, I just want to thank everyone in this thread for helping me fix my 3800. I started noticing black lines appearing in the margins, and the guidance here helped me open up my printer and order the replacement part I needed. All the repair shops told me it was hopeless, but I was able to replace the damper assembly, and everything is working great now. The part cost over $200, but that was a better option than trashing the printer (and all the cartridges).
