epson 1400 and new inkjetmall ink issues...red ink light on printer

just opened up a brand new cone ink kit from inkjet mall. filled the cartridges up put them in printer and the red ink light on printer wont go off. opened the status monitor and 3 of the cartridge pics had the red x saying replace cartridge. pulled them out put them back in and one fixed itself. so now i have 2 with the red x on them and ive pulled them out and put back in several times. turned printer on and off. im hoping this is a simple common knowledge fix to someone on here.

You did replace all the printer carts with the Cone carts? Don't mix OEM ad Cone carts at the same time.

they sent a new pack of cartridges and that fixed the issues.
