Ecotank pigment printer vs ecotank dye printer

We had great success using our Canon ipf6100 We printed the image on thin timber veneer which was then adhered to 10mm hard board. The ipf's no longer have a straight thru opening but other brands do. The secret is to use veneer which is about as thick as the thicker photo papers. Pigment ink did a reasonable job because the Canon driver let you strengthen the ink load,
We final coat with auto clear coat spray
