dried ink blocking CISS tubing

hi i have a CISS for my epson R1800. i havent used it for 2 years as iv'e been travelling. on setting it up this week i've found most of the tubes have ink dried in them and are badly blocked. It is pigment ink. can anybody help!!!:|

Hi there

I have a R2880 with a pigment ciss.

I make sure to print something every week.

Would not trust flushing a pigment ciss, I would alway worry, did I get it perfectly cleaned out.

Replace your ciss or go to refillable cartridges, sounds like you do not use this printer very much.

MIS sells ink tubes and fittings, if you want to flush your ciss.

will be using this printer heaps - just been travelling for the last two years. dont really want to buy a new ciss as it wasn't cheap and have only used it twice. thanks for your advice though

I have used R-JetTek's OCP's Printhead Recovery fluid.

Had a Epson 2200 that needed to be cleaned and flushed out.

Had not printed anything with this printer for over three years. (found in my storage)

This stuff worked great.

I am sure others have suggestions on flushing the ciss..
