I am not saying I disagree with what you said. I just wanted to comment that they have had more than one set of ink. I have used them. They do sell UW8 only for the moment I think and it is a very good quality set of ink in my opinion. How do you know they have only one set of ink for Canon? I am not saying your are wrong but how do you know it? I remember seeing them selling HP and Epson inks on ebay for a short while. I was sure surprised that they sell more than just Canon inks.

Here is where I read on Hobbicolors website that they only have one set of inks for all Canon printers. I did not say anything about other brands of printers.

Just in case the link disappears, here is what it said:

How about BCI-3/6 ink cartridges?

Take the advantage of ouw UW8 ink's ultra wide gamut and go ahead to refill your BCI-3/6 CMYBK ink cartridges with this ink set. Not only the UW8 ink will work flawlessly you will be surprised how your older Canon printers can reproduce stunning vibrant colors too. We have a very large base of customers who have used this UW8 ink set on their older generation Canon printers with BCI-3/6 ink cartridges. None of them ever want to go back to our older WC6 ink set. For this reason we have long discontinued WC6 ink set.

Hobbicolors for some reason has had a very out of date web site for a long time. But it shows that they had a WC6 ink set for Canon's old BCI-6/3 printers before. As far as I know they don't sell it any more. The text you showed here is telling people to refill BCI-3/6 with their UW8 ink. It says the ink will work flawlessly and you will be surprised by its vibrant colors. I have used WC6 inks before and I am using UW8 now. The UW8 ink works as promised in my mp780 and the colors are just fabulous. I have no desire to go back to the WC6 ink.

This may appear that they only sells one ink set. But that is just a guess. They had a different one, the WC6 before. They may have another that we don't know. I was surprised to see their listings of HP and Epson inks a while ago. Who knows what else they may still have. I don't see them on ebay though.

If you were a long time customer you would not have said that.
Please tell me what I would not have said if I were a long time customer.

Are you a long time customer of Hobbicolors? Have you ever used Hobbicolors ink? How come you know only one set of ink? I have used many. You really know so little about Hobbicolors. You really like to based on little or no experience of a product to bash small companies, don't you? Do I need to repeat thay they had HP and Epson inks listed on ebay a while ago. I have absolutely no way of knowing how many ink sets they have for Canon or else. At least they had an excellent WC6 before. I can understand why not selling two sets of Canon inks if the one set is better than the other. WHat about Image Specialist? Do they sell two sets of ink for Canon Pro9000?

Leo, I'm really sorry that I so easily upset you. I don't know why. I don't know what being a long time customer has to do with providing a simple answer to the question that this thread is about. Look at the title. Look at the first post. Sid was asking if Hobbicolors sells a range of products (inks) for Canon printers. The first answer pointed to Hobbicolors eBay website but did not answer the question. I answered the question correctly and in full agreement with everything you have stated in this long series of posts since my original answer. I still don't understand why you took issue with my answer or the way I answered it or my qualifications to answer it or whatever your problem is with me. You seem to think I'm bashing Hobbicolors yet you provide exactly the same information about them that I have. Why is it that I'm bashing Hobbicolors and you are not? I'll tell you one thing is for sure, you sure like to bash me. Why?

Apparently I know much more about Hobbicolors. You answer was no more than air. I was not bashing you. I just wanted to comment with what I know about the company and its products that I used. And that's what I did. If you are a long time Hobbicolors customer you would have not said what you said.

You may be right that I sometimes appeared to be bashing you. If you get the impression from the issues such as leaving the power on for Canon printers, do not remove print heads to soak, defective purge units... In my opinion many of your sugestions I beg to disagree. This is a forum. I voice my different opinions. Please do not take them personally.
