Hello everyone,
can somebody help me? My situation is somehow complicated.

I just started my project on the newly ordered printer: model Brother DCPJ132W.

I have to print some special ink (silver nano ink) for my project. But the printer works (can be installed successfully ) only if I use their introductory ink cartridges. Therefore, I had 2 sets of empty compatible cartridges LC123. I used the first set of cartridges with Ethanol and run the printing. But the Yellow cartridge cannot be detected anymore after 2 weeks of time. The printer still showing "Cannot print, replace Y ink" after so many times of trying. I wonder weather too frequently of take in-take out the cartridge will cause this problem ( unable to be detected) ?

So I used the second set of cartridges which filled with nano ink to print. But no any nano ink appear in the paper. " Print Quality check Sheet" was printed few times but it showed no ink also.
(is there any method to clean the clogged head of this DCPJ132W model ?)
I tried again with ethanol cartridges(but Y doesn't work anymore) with the aim to clean the printer again. Thank god that some nano inks appeared on the paper. From the " Print Quality check Sheet", it is obvious that both Y and C are clogged because none of the strips were printed.

Now, the Cyan cartridge (first set) is no longer detected (like the Yellow cartridge).
Will a resetter help in my case ? Or I should continue buy the 3rd, 4th .. set of cartridge ?

A lot of thanks for your time and appreciate reply from anyone.

I checked the manual for the "Cannot print, replace XX ink" message.

The explanation in tha manual is: "One or more of the ink cartridges have reached the end of their life. The machine will stop alll print operations".

I believe your catridge is empty, or at least the chip indicates that it is empty. If you got an empty cartridge and refilled that, big chance the chip will think it's empty somewhere halfway the second load. I don't think it's a problem with detecting the cartridge, there is another message for that case (Cannot detect).

Even if there is ink in the cartridge, once the chip says it's empty the printer won't print.

Please note that resetters usually won't work with chips that are not orginal Brother chips.

I usually buy the inks in different online stores, I prefer to buy cheap inks.
I use a price comparator specializing in printers, the problem is that it is in Spanish but the ink cartridges are really cheap.
For example, for your printer:
http://www.cinkis.es/brother/brother-dcp-j-132-w/
If you look, it shows you the savings, then you have to add the shipping costs. Hope this can help you.
