I received an advisory message regarding data security in general, among which was a reference to this:-

which you may or may not have seen. It also warned of the risk of posting "likes" when using Facebook etc.

I am totally ignorant of all of these social sites plus I don’t own a touch phone or a GPS so I make a very poor target.

I can safely say if you typed my first and second name into anything, you’ll get nothing from your search and that suits me fine, just keeping it under The Hat..

Yes, that's as it is - and you won't get your data back - ever, and there are more retrieving and using your data - the Googles , NSA, data from hacked online stores etc

Yes, you are right, I did a quick scan of the first 20 pages of "The Hat" Googled and nothing about you or PrinterKnowledge!!

I think it is to the credit of PrinterKnowledge that the various inbuilt facilities, using avatars, etc. work well in providing the data protection it does.
