For those of you following this thread (and any new folks browsing) I've done some more tweaking on my video approach and come up with two that I think cover the different styles I've been considering... but, as ever, I need more feedback. So, for those interested, these are the videos:
First video:
...is mostly my standard format although I've got a camera aimed at me more now, so it's a bit more personal. It's also a lot more detailed but I'm aware I talk about things that need to be done and sometimes don't demonstrate all that I'm talking about.
This is contrasted by the second video:
...which has no speaking (aside from the tail end comment), is set to music and provides sub-titles (captions) in English and Ukranian (more languages to follow) with the emphasis more on demonstration rather than blathering on.
So, I'm genuinely interested in which style works best or if you prefer, which bits of each would make a good hybrid?
