Either one. I have used only blunt needles and and have had zero issues stemming from their use. There is no advantage with sharp needles other than opinion. However, there is a potential downside to sharp needles - increased risk of injury from needle sticks.Burt25 said:Thanks everyone for the advice- I think I will buy new CLI-521 carts and transfer the chips to them so I am sure that they are fresh. Should I better getting sharp needles rather than blunt?
Whatever you get will work as long as it is at least 2 inches / 50 mm in length. Gauge of the needle from 18-21 for ease of use most often mentioned on the forum.
