I switched computer's a while ago and ever since the colors on all my printers have been off. I have a 4x6 photo printer and when I connect that to the PC it is messed up the same way my IP4700 is. Printing directly from a SD card on the photo printer and the color is good. Same monitor with same settings and same printer with same inks. Any insight appreciated, thanks.

Monitor will not have anything to do with prints. Do you have the right set of drivers installed and printer options selected (as you had earlier)?

There is something like colour calibration and ICC profiles. That's what the pros use for consistent colour output. This is kind of complicated and I don't know how to use it, but it's there.

A simpler method would be to fine tune the balance of green, magenta, cyan etc. in the printing options screen which pops up when you select "File>Print..."

MSMART,

I like the Sig ;)

It might be three years from you last bought an OEM cart, but clearly you are still addicted

I'd love to help you but unfortunately you cannot be sponsored by another "addict"

Think of here as a self help group. The problem is that most of the self help groups on the internet can actually exacerbate the condiiton :gig

Just last week I acquired another printer despite trying to resist. The condition is getting worse I fear, as I am about to visit an IP4200 that is rather ill and may need convalescence :/
