I've tried a lot of the homemade solutions for unclogging printheads but haven't been successfull. There's also commercially available cleaners. My question, is any of these better than the popular DIY unclogging mixtures? Like Windex, ammonia, alcohol, distilled water etc.
-Powerklin (expensive stuff) http://www.powerklin.co.uk/
-Magic Bullet (seems to work wonders) http://www.amazon.co.uk/Specialistink-MB-Bullet-Printhead-unblocker/dp/B002YUEEXI
-IPA http://www.specialistinks.com/cleaning-heads.php
-cleaning cartridges
-Anything else I might have missed?
The cleaning cartridges from the national ink emporium were no success. I've installed 5 of these in my MP610 and deep cleaned until all cartridges were empty, no result however. Well my printer has been smelling like cleaning fluid for the past year, I guess the waste ink pads are full of cleaning fluid lol.
