Yes there is a way to solve your problem. You can choose matte photo paper as printing medium.

This will force the printer to use photo black instead of pigment black. Printing will be slower though, due to fewer and smaller nozzles for the photo black.

Yes, you can print your documents using photo paper settings. The large black cartridge will not be not used.

Also keep in mind that you can buy a new printhead if your current one is irreparable.

With excessive cleaning I have damaged my IP6700 print head, now using brand new head, but never recommend pressurized purging via syringe anymore. Only if it doesn't work otherwise.

Thank you guys. I did like you said.
My printhead is rather damaged. Since I performed this harder cleaning I get B200 error, so I assume the printhead has enough.
By the way it is unbelievable that Canon is wasting so much ink trough all these numerous cleanings.
