Canon to Epson?

ok last aug i lost an mp620 B200 code i think it is the logic board, well i have friends still using 560s and 640s i am using a 990. at some point i feel these machines are going to to be irrepairable. so is epson now the better printer to get that is refillable, wifi, scans and prints cds. if so which models would i be looking at as i have never owned an epson

Sad your MP990 failed.
It was a grandfather anyway (520/521).
Find some from the next generation (525/526) second hand, the best are 6250 and 8250.
Same printer engine, print quality, refill ink, but latest communications (Apple Airprint, Google Cloudprint).

Why do you think Epson will be better ?

in the states I believe you are talking about the MG5320 the cartridges are 225 and 226, those are pretty small are they not, and I'm not sure if it prints to cds, thats why I am thinking about an epson, I believe they have larger cartridges, from the little I have read about them

For features such as

- refillable, wifi, scans

I can recommend brother printers, not the lowest cheapest ones, they print photos very slow. 15minutes for A6 was reported on this forum. However my brother mfc5895cw prints a A6 photo in 70secs and I'm happy.

As for CD printing you have to get Canon or EPSON, if you want EPSON get L800

I print on average 50-60 borderless A4 photos with the 9ml Canon cartridges.
And I with a refilled set ready, what's the problem ?

Most Canons print on CD's.

as far as i know from the MP series printers i have been using have to have the region changed to print cds, also with the printer you are using is there an issue with clearance of refilled cartridges (plugs)

I just began the process of switching over to Epson from Canon. I have 2 Xpression xp-610's. (all in one, disc printing yada yada)

I bought the refillable carts from Ebay and so far so good. So far no clogs, print quality is very good. (I'm even using my dye canon ink in them, probably to the horror of some users here)

I like them, and I glad I bought 4 for 59.00 each when they started clearing them out. (the successor is the xp-620)

I am truly fed up with Canon, I still have some, but when a newer one quit recently, I just had enough. The newer the Canon model, the lower their lifespan was.

It's too early to tell, but so far they perform well. They *seem* to use a bit more ink than Canon.

I use refillables I bought off ebay that come with Auto reset chips. They cost about $17 from Hong Kong, so no issues with refilling.

Could you please, kindly use standard grammar? I want to hear you and perhaps make valuable comment, but your syntax prevents me w/o hug head banging. Maybe I'm just old.
