Tin Ho, the only issue I have ever had with my Pro9000 was improperly resetting the chip. Without operator error, there are no issues.

I just checked, and it is set to turn off at 10 minutes. It is truly amazing what an improvement in trouble free printing makes by Canon's method of turning the printer off.

I just wanted to point out that it does not make any improvement to trouble free printing by turning off the printer after idling for 10 minutes. It does help reducing green house effect on earth though.

Thanks! But,
I don't how to say it any plainer, my only problem was not using the chip resetter correctly. Once I corrected my error -- not a print head error -- everything is fine. I have since made 50 8.5x11 prints that are perfect.

I say again. There is no problem with proper operator procedure!
