I'm looking for the ET-8550 profiles you are using for comparison of your images in Gamutvision, the images don't tell me much.

Tks, I got it - I'll compare them to some profiles I made for the ET-8550.

I'm comparing the profile PP201 ET8550 Ultraglossy - orange - with a profile I made some time ago for the Canon paper PT101 Platinum Pro - light blue - with the Ultraglossy standard driver setting, and using the Epson 106 inks in the ET-8550. It is interesting how similar these profiles are

Profile-1.jpg

This is an horizontal cut at a luminance of L=50, but profiles are very close across the complete range.

I don't know if there is much more changes between the PP201 and the PT101 with the ET8550. The Original ICCs for the canon pro 10, there is a very small difference between PP201 and PT101.
The PT101 paper has a bigger gamut

They are in the zip file in the "canon pp201.zip"
I am a bit confused
The file "CN_PP202_Pro10_GlossyII_MaxQuality.icm" has an internal description "FS_PlatEtchingET8550_MAT_V1"

It looks exactly the same as my PRO-10 profiles on glossy papers, so I suppose it is from the PRO-10 ?

The one named "CN_PP201_ET8550_UltraGlossy_HQ_v1.icc"
is a bit better in the b+ axis.

Anyway, the ET8550 seems to match the PRO-10 with ease (with dye inks).

Thanks for pointing this out, I will correct it. But it’s the pp201 with pro 10 for sure.

No problem.
I will stick with the PRO-10 (found another one, sadly enough expensive with a clogged printhead - €70).
