Bird333,.... this series of the auction is over. I'm not working on adding the MP730 to the action. I did not get as many request for the Repair Manual as I thought I should have. The cost to list it and sell them on ebay has not worked out. I will wait till I have more manuals completed before I list on eBay again. You can me at the nifty stuff forum on printers or at 'FixyourownPrinter' forum, under my ID, Trigger1937

Was not able to see your post on ebay regarding the Canon Repair Manuals. Wish to purchase the appropriate ones for the Pixma iP1000 and the MP 150. (Through eBay or any other way)
I need Specific info on Waste Ink Tank cleaning and Resetting the Waste Ink Codes for both printers; as well as resetting the Ink Level Information when refilling a used ink cartridge on the MP 150.

Thanks

Iziu,... I can't find any kind of information on the Canon support web site about an iP1000. Are you sure that is the printer you have. As far as the MP150, that is such a new printer, I do not have one as of yet. I have stayed away from all of the new CLI canon printers, except for the iP6600d that I have. At least I was staying away from them but now I have purchased about 6 iP4200 to repair. From looking at the case of the MP150 it looks very similar to the iP4200. I also do not have the Service Manual and the Part Catalog for the MP150. By the way, Canon won't sell them either.

The only thing I can offer you is the iP4200 Manuals when I get them done. I can tell you that the inside guts will be practically the same as the iP4200 because Canon tends to re-use every design they can. Since your case and the iP4200 look so close, I bet the insides are the same except for the difference in printhead. The MP150 uses the PG-40 and the CL-41 ink carts which have the printhead built in. I assume that you are refilling these with bulk ink. No one could afford to buy new color ink carts as these guys hold very little ink and they cost a lot. Send me your email and I'll contact you when I get the iP4200 finished. We can try the codes I have and see if they work. They should work as Canon has not changed any codes in the Service Mode for over 5 years. They don't want to have to re-educate all of their service technicians.
