Canon Print Head

The anatomy of a Canon printhead as posted by ghwellsjr & others is excellent but is there any info on the other part of the head dealing with the electrics ? When it burns out exactly what has burnt out, is it some component in the printed circuit or some other part ? I assume they are impossible to repair otherwise details would have be posted before now ?

These two (5 year old) posts show some photomicrographs of the electronics contained on the ceramic print head itself. Even if you could find the problem, how could you fix it?

I Get a headache just looking at that....... as you say even if you could find the problem there would be no way to fix it, but thanks for the link.
