Ink level resetting is a function of the cartridge, not of the printer. So a 520/521 resetter (such as the 15 Ebay one) can be used for any printer with 520/521 carts. But you can't reset 520/521 carts with a 220/221 resetter, even though the carts are physically identical and hold the same amount of ink.
There is a catch, of course. Some printers use green, grey or other obscure colour carts. The standard cheap resetters will only work with the standard colours (Pigment Black, Dye Black, Cyan, Magenta and Yellow). Unless the advert says otherwise.
