Well... It will be interesting to see how this develops. Will the printers now be more expensive? There must be some strategy to make money of us, the users. So until my Pro-100 craps out I'll just sit and watch.

Really interesting. Epson has priced their Ecotank printers too high. If Canon price it's printers more realistically then it could catch on. Personally I doubt it.

I'd be interested if they print directly to CD/DVDs, but I looked up the specs for the four printers listed in the UK and none of them print directly to discs.
