Canon ip8750/ip8760/ip8720/ip8740 ink absorber reset

@snowylemoncat Did you successfully enter service mode using that procedure, and did you successfully reset the absorber counter using the service tool v5204?

yes, i was succesful in resetting the waste counter. im in the process of getting another copy of the software because the pc i had it on packed up and so happens our other printer now is showing the ink absorber error. i got the software from https://resetyourprinter.com/produc...ervice-tool-v5204-original-last-version-2018/
still waiting on the key from the seller so i can use the tool though. so will update if this one works. FYI the printer with the error has only been in use for less than a year with moderate use, so im pretty sure the waste pads are NOT that full.
