Canon IP4500 /MP610 Printhead

Seems I'm in the same position with this MP610.. it's looks like the P/H is toast

The printer cost me about 35USD so I'm wondering if it worth getting a new head for ?

I found someone that has some cheap heads

How much should a P/H cost ?

I pay $50 for iP4000/MP780 print heads from my authorized Canon repair center. They are usually a little more on eBay. Have you checked with a local authorized Canon repair center in your area or directly with Canon?

The problem is that in Japan they don't sell the P/H and in order to get a new P/H you have to send the unit to the service center

I had this problem with my ip8600 I did bite the bullet and get a P/H for it since I knew the history of the unit but the history of the MP610 is unknown to me and it's looks like it had a tough life

I'm pretty sure it's a P/H problem So is it really worth getting a head for it ?
