Hi everyone,
As a new member here, I wanted to start by saying hello to this knowledgeable community. I've been browsing through various threads looking for some advice related to printer inks and cartridges. Whilst I did find a post by a user named "swordfish", ( https://www.printerknowledge.com/th...rent-canon-printers-or-not.14853/#post-139619 ) who asked a similar question about ink compatibility, the answers weren't complete enough for my situation. So, I decided to make my own post to get a bit more clarity.
My main question is about the compatibility of Canon GI-53 range of inks with the Canon ip8750 printer. I'm curious to know if anyone has tried this combination or knows whether these inks are suitable for the ip8750.
Additionally, (if compatible) I'm assuming that I'll need new, empty, and clean 551 XL cartridges to transfer the ink, along with a chip resetter. Is my understanding correct? If so, could anyone recommend a reliable supplier for these items, preferably based in the UK or EU?
Any guidance or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
