Can The Artisan 837 Use Usb And Wireless At The Same Time?

My 837 is currently set up using a USB cable mainly because it sets just a few feet from my computer. However, I'd like to have it be able to print from my Android phone wirelessly. I know I could reinstall the printer to just use wireless but I'm concerned if I do that it might somehow end up updating the firmware. Thus not enabling me to use my ARS carts. How should I go about enabling the wireless feature?

Yes. It will install TWO instances of the same printer. One for USB and second one will be called "Artisan 837 (Network) "
That's the case with my Artisan 720

I went ahead and setup the wireless from the front panel of the printer (did not use the setup disc) and everything works fine now. I can print from my computer through USB and I can print from my Android phone wirelessly.
