The specs say that the printer can handle 64-105 gsm plain paper and up to 275 gsm special paper like photo paper.

The 60 gsm is not much less than 64 gsm, so I would give it a try. The risk is that a too thin paper will crumple and jam inside the printer, If not removed gently jammed paper might damage sensors in the printer.

If the 60gsm paper does not work well with the duplexer. then you can do manual duplex printing: First print page one on all 100 sheets, then print page two on all sheets.

I think the manual duplex will be faster than letting the duplexer handle 100 sheets.

Just don’t print with draft mode, if you want to try duplex, then just do one sheet to start with as a test, but if it jams up it will be a very hard task to retrieve the damaged sheet, if it was me I wouldn’t chance it, one sided is safer..

By using the normal or higher quality mode setting, the printer grabs the sheet slower and more gentle and is less lightly to crumble the leading edge..
On occasion I’ve had to print on Fax paper in draft mode and had to mount the sample sheet on an 80gm sheet with tape, it printed successfully..
